People in the lab (2024)

Hannah Brazeau (PhD student): Hannah joined the lab in Winter 2021, after completing her MSc at the University of New Brunswick.  She was awarded a University of Guelph Graduate Tuition Scholarship, an Ontario Graduate Scholarship, and an NSERC CGS-D.  She is studying the ecological consequences of floral evolution in response to pollinator decline.

Alise Griffiths (undergraduate research assistant, undergraduate thesis student): Alise joined the lab in Summer 2024.  She will be developing a thesis project testing whether plants that have evolved in response to pollinator decline produce more selfed seeds

Caelen McCabe (undergraduate research assistant, undergraduate thesis student): Caelen joined the lab in Summer 2024.  He will be developing a thesis project on the evolution of delayed selfing in response to pollinator decline.

Noah Rhoden (undergraduate research assistant): Noah joined the lab in Summer 2024. He will be helping PhD student Hannah Brazeau with her research on the ecological consequences of floral evolution in response to pollinator decline.

Jacqueline Thomson (PhD student): Jacqueline joined the lab in Summer 2022. She is studying fungal endophytes with Jonathan Newman (who is now a VP at Wilfrid Laurier University, so Chris is acting as her co-advisor).

Amanda Whitehead (MSc student): Amanda joined the lab in Fall 2022, after completing her BSc at Trent University. She was awarded a University of Guelph Graduate Tuition Scholarship and an Ontario Graduate Scholarship, and is studying how plant responses to pollinator decline are affected by anthropogenic changes in the abiotic environment.
